Even if misleadingly reported, @PaiviRasanen 's conviction is a shameful day in Finnish history. Free speech is a hard-won right that deserves strict legal priority. We should use that freedom to challenge reactionary and hateful views in the name of science, reason, and love.

This could be the superstar crossover we desperately need. Hopefully Hayek will get his fair shake as one of the most prescient and insightful liberal thinkers. He has a lot to teach both the left and the right. Looking forward.
